The Continued Economic Development of Leeds
Our primary concern is the continued economic success of the economy. Leeds Chamber plays an ever increasing role in this area as our Directors and many of our members sit on a number of key development groups across the city and play an active role in putting across the views of the local business community.
The Chamber contributes significantly to the international activities of the City. The Chamber is seen as the key 'body' to take the lead on further developing the business aspects of overseas relationships.
In addition, Leeds Chamber plays a major part in many national initiatives based on enhancing the City's status, such as the " Core Cities " and "The Northern Way."
Another interesting initiative in The Cultural Partnership which is another example of the public and private sectors working together. It's aim is to assess the opportunities for Leeds to develop and sustain the infrastructure needed by an international city.
